School holidays full of fun. My Son and grandchildren joined me for a day at Australia Zoo. It took us 2 hours to drive there so you can imagine it was a full day in the sun, even thou there was plenty on shade to be found.. We arrived at 10 am and left by 5 pm.
We saw the croc show and the children spent a lot of time at the water park. We packed our own lunch so no standing in queues at the snack bars.
I managed to see most of the park the different sections from koala's to rhino's.Was awesome day out Grandson manage to talk to Robert Irwin after a chance encounter was awe struck spoke all the way home about what they spoke about. Sons girlfriend manage to get herself an interview to work for the Zoo, in the reptile center. CRIKEY!!! Fantastic family statue on the entrance to the park.
Terri feeding crocodile, Robert went for a swim to show us all what not to do. As soon as his feet went into water the crocodile was alerted. The crocodile was a lot smaller but the instinct was the same. (Was in no real danger as crocodile was too small to bite his hand.)
Terri, Robert and Chandler discussing whether or not to enter water. Why Bindi was not out with them on the day. As l said was a great day.
