Have been busy sewing with all this rain we are experiencing here in Woomba Woomba. I know it is the wet season, but a little sun is not too much to ask for. Decide to make theses three little wall hangings today, have completed two. Will make many more as the year progresses. Need to find the little coat hangers to accompany them. I might be in luck at the Quilter Angel in Highfields. Have been working on a secret little project for my Mother For Christmas will read all about it latter. Sunday, January 29, 2012
Small Chrissy Wall Hangings.
Have been busy sewing with all this rain we are experiencing here in Woomba Woomba. I know it is the wet season, but a little sun is not too much to ask for. Decide to make theses three little wall hangings today, have completed two. Will make many more as the year progresses. Need to find the little coat hangers to accompany them. Cute reindeers! They look good Maddy. Now who is going to have the most Christmas gifts ready by December - you or me! lol It's a good feeling getting them made, don't you agree!

ReplyDeleteSwap some of your rain for the 45degree temperature [inside, and no air con] we have had for the past week, with the added 'thrill' of Cyclone Iggy waltzing around the ocean, and a bush fire making detours from Geraldton to Perth essential as the Brand Highway and Indian Ocean Drive are both affected.
Roll on the rain!!
Even though it is wet cold and we have been stuck inside for the past 4 days, going stir crazy...l don't want your heat. Sorry.
DeleteGoodness, you are getting along well for Christmas, and the rain - well, I wouldn't mind some for our watermelons, much prefer cooler/wetter weather - but then long for the sun, can't win. Pretty patterns Maddy, can't wait to see what you are doing for your mum
ReplyDeleteLucky you, my watermelon didn't make it! When we were up north the weather was very warm here and no one thought to water for us, but they did mow the lawn and collected our mail. You will have to wait and see what l make for mum, as l am not completely sure how l am going to go about this project. Going to take some thought! May need to pick your brains down there in Melb. Later.
