Life's A Puzzle

Life is a puzzle. My Son No.4 (Hayden) and girlfriend purchased a puzzle when the weather turned wet.  We all had a turn putting a piece here and there. They gave up two days back Hubby is still slugging away determined  to complete the puzzle.  I manage to find 15 pieces today.

Secret sewing going on here, so cannot say too much. But it has a winter theme to it.

What To Do With 3 1/2 Inch Scraps.

Sorted through all my 3 1/2 inch scraps and started to sew...not sure what l was going to make.

Sewing  them into pairs then into rows of ten. Then sewing those row together into a panel.
Thought it could be a table runner or table cloth for picnics.

Maybe a community quilt if it keeps expanding...who knows where  it will end up.

Love the scrappy look.

Thank you for sitting up with me tonight...really enjoyed your company.  Those muffins you bought with you were fabulous.

First Bag For The Year.

Was asked very politely to make a bag for Rachel's elder sister Jennifer, as she had admired a bag l had made for Rachel a few years back.  So they went fabric shopping and come back with this beautiful fabric for her bag.    (real like this soft blue dot fabric).

Have been in a bit of a blah  mood lately, not sure why and was having trouble getting started, so on the weekend l decided it was time.

So happy l did my mood has certainly changed for the better. Enjoyed putting this bag together it is an Amy Butler Pattern. Great bag for beach or overnight it is a large bag, but not huge.
Think it has come together real nicely. Really pretty, great choice girls.
Have made so many of these bags in the past l might have to buy a new pattern as it is looking extremely tired.
Each and every bag  has come out looking trumps.
